“Oh come on, it’s all based on a true story isn’t it? Come on. Tell me. I know it is.”

I hear this comment often. And now that my novel Letters Between Us has been published by Plain View Press and is going out into the world, some of my preliminary readers, friends, and colleagues are certain that it is an autobiographical novel. Interestingly enough when readers take up works written in first person point of view an incorrect assumption is sometimes made that it’s the voice of the author speaking through the narrator. Because my novel is written in first person, other readers have suggested that I am using the narrator in the novel, Laura Wells, as my persona. After all, she attended Hollywood High School, so did I. She worked in television production, so did I long ago. There are other characteristics we do not share, but you’ll have to read the book to discover what those are besides getting to know me.

Amazing how readers read what they want into a work and believe they are correct no matter what I, or other authors might say about their fiction. My two main character’s names were actually inspired by Katharine (Hepburn) and her dear friend American Express heiress Laura (Harding).

Only because a writer friend of mine who had been close to Hepburn—helping produce some of her movies made for television—thought it would be a nice testament to them and their sixty year friendship. In fact, my two lead characters are nothing like Hepburn and Harding, but I liked the way their two first names looked on the page. Also, I admired Hepburn’s work on film and still relish watching them. So that may dispel any notion of autobiography there. Truth is that although the “I’ in the novel is the protagonist, that “I” is not me, but the voice of a completely made up character struggling with issues I did not necessarily struggle with, but that others may be able to relate to.

The fact is that fiction means “shaping” in Latin. So as an author of fiction I am shaping a story I am telling from a world I know, yes, but not necessarily a world I have lived in. Like any artist using the act of sculpting, I must know just how much to leave intact and just how much to pare down in creating a sense of reality, not my specific reality, but the reality of the characters in the novel. This of course is accomplished through manipulation of literary aspects such as setting, point of view, style, tone, imagery, plot, and so on with the assistance of description. And, as any writer knows, description is only an effective tool on the page if it brings alive the reader’s five senses to savor what has been written. But sometimes boundaries between fact and fiction are blurred creating what is referred to as faction.

I do write fiction and have written and published creative nonfiction so I agree that at times lines between the two become indistinct. And as a writer, I see no difference (as writer John Daniel has said) between what I do in creative nonfiction, narrative essay, dated journal entries, dialogue, faction, or memoir, using the same technical devices as a fiction writer might to tell a story. As far as I am concerned it is all acceptable as long as the text we are reading teaches us how to read it. However, not every reader wants to accept that lesson and prefers to put their own spin on what they are reading and its origins.

The important thing about this entire creative act and the result of its output is that the reader is getting a “good read.” As a reader myself, I want to get lost in someone else’s interpretation of reality, someone else’s rendition of another time, another place. I want to believe in those who populate that space. This so I can escape the pressures of my own world, pressures I desperately seek relief from at times. And through the act of purchasing a book, holding it in my hand, inhaling it, marking the place I left off at with a bookmark, leaving it on my night stand, and often, finding the imprints of rings from a moist steaming cup of tea on it, I can do just that. That for me is a good read. Isn’t the experience the book brings us what really counts?

Again, I hear an echo from a friend last week proclaiming that my novel is based on truth . . . and then adding, “Isn’t it?”

“No,” I answer and explain further that “the label Novel implies a work of fiction.” My girlfriend smiles and says, “Sure.”

From David Donaldson: From the beginning, Mark Grisham and I agreed that a significant portion of the proceeds from our books would go to benefit the needy children and families of Impact Missions, Inc. Since that time, many people who have seen the ministry logo have asked and heard us talking about it, have asked about this unique relationship with the charity, and why Mark and I are so passionate about helping the organization, so here goes.

In the late 90’s I felt compelled to start a non-profit charity, providing Biblically based counseling services to the Mid South community. The ministry grew quickly, and by the second year of operation, we had four staff counselors and were providing care to over 500 people a year. The counseling center provided care to children, youth, and adults, including addiction recovery support groups and a small group ministry.

In April 2002, Mayor Greg Davis of Southaven, MS, spoke to my wife Cindy and I about a local charity in fiscal crisis. The Desoto Sunrise Homes were founded in 1978, and was the oldest upstart charity in Northwest Mississippi. The charity had lost its founder, and its favor in the community. Now deep in debt and on the verge of bankruptcy, it appeared the only recourse was to dissolve the organization. After weeks of research, prayer, and counsel, we decided to take over the operations of the homes, and expand the purpose and vision of the Counseling Ministry. Over the next few years, the focus was primarily to stabilize the finances, repair the ministries relationship within the community, and restore hope.

By 2005, it became apparent our ministry would need to expand its horizon. Once the community began trusting in the leadership of the children’s homes once again, donations from local businesses, churches, and individuals began piling up! This is a wonderful problem to have for a non-profit ministry! We decided to step out on faith, and lease a local retail facility, which has now grown to a 16,000 square foot Thrift Store.

In 2007, we merged all three organizations into what is now known as Impact Missions, Inc. I serve as the CEO/President of the ministry, and work daily as a mental health counselor. Mark Grisham is a trusted friend, avid supporter, and regular contributor to the ministry. Impact Missions has three primary programs to the community.

First, our children’s homes; Since 1985, we have operated a crisis care shelter for children, ranging from birth to 18 years old. These children are often afraid, taken from their parents or guardian because of abuse neglect, or incarceration. The shelter is a protective custody facility, and over 120 children each year call the shelter home! We also are privileged to provide a group home for abused and at risk girls. Founded in 1978, the girls home provides long term care, counseling, and a stable family environment to girls who otherwise would be shuffled around in foster homes because of their unique circumstances.

Second, the counseling center has grown to provide care to over 700 people each year. The services are offered on a sliding scale, so no one is ever turned away because of finances or the inability to pay for services.

Finally, the Sunrise Thrift Store remains a vital part of our service to the community. We still receive daily donations to help the children’s homes and center, but the benevolence part of the ministry is what we are most proud of. Local people can come to the store and receive clothing, non-perishable food, and household goods. Everything is sold at a discount, but people who cannot pay for the goods are never turned away!

You see, writing book with my friend is a pleasant, enjoyable distraction from the ministry. And we believe that the books open up new and exciting opportunities to tell people about the ministry, and the lives that are forever changed!

Mark Grisham, an aspiring author, and David Donaldson, CEO/President of Impact Missions, co-wrote Bedlam South. A portion of all book sales will be donated to Impact Missions, a faith-based ministry dedicated to providing care to abused children, hurting families and impoverished people. To learn more about the book and the charity, visit Bedlam South.

When I think about the different types of adversity that have been a constant presence in my life, my mind goes back to the one event that has shaped me more than any other. My mother, Vivian Pray passed away on November 17, 2003. Although she was in failing health, death was never a thought. Like so many others, I felt like my mother’s medical issues were tied to her emotional health. She was depressed. She never had a chance to recover. On November 5th, she woke up like normal and had a short conversation with me before suffering a petit mal seizure and never waking up again.

At the time of her death, I was in the midst of a life changing experience. I was writing my first book. One year prior to my mother’s death, she had convinced me that I did indeed have enough talent to undertake the awesome task of bringing my friend, Faye Baker’s story to light. For six months, I wrote, enlarged the font and my mother would proofread. She would put on her reading glasses and read paragraph after paragraph. When she died, so did my desire to finish the story that was begging to be told…

Faye Baker, a high school teacher and basketball coach from Allenhurst, Georgia became paralyzed in an accident while traveling with her church to an anniversary celebration in Round O, South Carolina. The van in which she was traveling suffered a blowout before flipping over three times and landing upside down in a ditch beside Interstate 95 in Bluffton, South Carolina. The accident left Coach Baker fighting for her life- suffering with a broken neck and paralyzed from the waist down.

Although she was given less than a 4 percent chance of recovery, Coach Baker fought against the odds, not only to live but to reclaim some semblance of independence. Buoyed by her family, friends and spiritual faith, she undertook the challenge to reclaim the life that had drastically changed on that beautiful fall day. Entering the Shepherd Center for rehabilitation two weeks after the accident, Faye Baker challenged herself daily to do better than yesterday.

Keeping a firm eye on her team that was back at Bradwell Institute moving through the south east region taking no prisoners; Coach Baker used her desire to return to her job as motivation. Twelve weeks after being admitted into the Shepherd Center for Rehabilitation, she returned home to Liberty County and continued the long road to recovery. After reclaiming her job in the fall and coaching her team to the final four, she was voted the All Coastal Empire Women’s Coach of the Year for two years in a row. Albeit in a wheelchair, Coach Baker was back.

Day after day, I would go to work and see Faye Baker moving on with her life despite having experienced a life altering event. I would watch her teach her class during the day and coach her team in the evening. In between time, she would ride her bicycle. She would go outside and with her family at her side, she would walk. Although she used a wheelchair during the school day, she would never skip an exercise session in her quest to permanently give up the chair. In my eyes, she was simply amazing!

I was working as her teacher’s assistant when the idea of the book came up. I was so awed at her independence and determination, one day I told her I thought she should write a book to encourage others who are going through similar situations. She stated that her parents had made the same suggestion but she didn’t like to write. She then asked me if I wanted to do it, considering the fact that I loved to write. Of course I thought she had lost her mind, but secretly I allowed myself brief moments to fantasize about actually writing a book.

My mother didn’t share my sentiment. When I laughingly told her about the conversation, she sucked her teeth and said “why not?” Of course I thought she was crazy, too. After all, I was a single parent working as a teacher’s aide. I had never taken any writing classes. All I knew was I had a knack for completing papers at the last minute and still making a passing grade. Friends often asked me to write letters to their sweethearts but I never saw my writing as a talent or a gift. It was just something I enjoyed doing. At the time I had just completed my first college quarter and marketing 100 and computer apps was not going to help me write a book. How in the world could they ask me to write a whole, entire book?! Was the whole world going crazy?

Slowly, I allowed myself to dream. I began putting a few sentences on paper and hiding my notebooks. I was afraid someone would see my writing and laugh at me. On a whim, I showed Faye an opening I had written and her reaction left me stunned. She then took the ball out of my court by announcing my secret to her family and from that point on, I couldn’t turn back. That is until my inspiration died.

Six whole months went by after my mother’s death and I was no closer to completing the book than I was before she died. As a matter of fact, I stayed as far away from the computer as possible-claiming headaches. I just couldn’t imagine writing and not watching her strain to read in those silly dollar store reading glasses. The thought upset me terribly. Therefore, I simply gave up writing.

One afternoon I rushed to the parking lot to help Faye get out of her truck. I was running late and I didn’t want her to have to sit in the parking lot and wait for me. We had developed a routine where either me or our friend, Michelle would meet her and take the wheelchair out the back of her truck. This particular day Faye met me at the door - already in her chair. When I asked her who had taken the chair out for her, she proudly replied, “Me. I did it myself.” She then wheeled past me - moving on with her life.

Imagine my shock! Faye had been practicing this task for a while, unbeknownst to us. I looked at her once again and said to myself, “quit using mama’s death as a reason not to succeed.” With all Faye goes through, she never uses her disability as a reason not to do anything. The next day, I picked up my notebook and once again, I began writing.

The signs and hints that we reveal through our actions constitute body language. Body language is an easy method to understand the result of any interview for work. We are often not conscious of the actions or motions that we perform but they help others to understand our behaviour and sometimes character and therefore form an idea about us. Hence it is of utmost importance that you should be able to control and also refine your motions when you appear for an interview. Your attitude should be an optimistic one. Body language is a sort of silent communication between people and hence is extremely intimate, personal as well as influential. You can gauge the emotional condition of others through their body language.

You should be able to master the art of body language as it will empower you with the ability to know what the person sitting next to you is brooding over.

Body language comprehension and then deductions is a discipline of art and science. Each person nods or moves to show certain emotions or to communicate something. Each action has a cause and the necessary effect. Hence learning to understand body language, gestures and hints are essential.

1. A person crossing his or her arms over his or her chest is a commanding and also fundamental gesture. One interpretation is that the person is drawing a wall, maybe without actually knowing that he or she is doing it, between himself or herself and the person he or she is conversing with. Another interpretation could be that the person is slightly shivery or feeling cold and hence is hugging his or her own self to keep him or herself warm. If it is done in a jovial environment then it might be that the person is pondering over the topic of conversation. In case the situation is one of conflict then the gesture is surely one of resistance. In case the listener inclines away from the person who is talking, the resistance gesture is emphasized. When the listener has a cold or empty look on his face it means sheer unfriendliness. This person is surely not a friend and also might contemplate serious measures to oppose the situation.

2. When a person keeps looking into the eyes of the speakers, it can mean two things - a) the listener affirms what is being said to him or her. b) The listener does not have faith on the speaker and chooses not to get him or her out of sight. Again if the listener keeps averting his or her gaze, it means that he or she is not too interested and does not really share similar views with the speaker. People suffering from anxiety disorders usually cannot hold on their gaze comfortably. Just because we learn from childhood to maintain eye contact while talking to a person, this motion is not a very efficient method to judge a person’s mood or thoughts. In case a person has his or her arms across his or her chest and is also holding your gaze, then it might mean that he or she wishes to discuss with you some matter that has been troubling him or her. When a person is fiddling with some object and also looking straight into your eyes, he or she is indeed thinking of something else.

3. A person stroking the ear or scratching the chin is quite surprised and shocked due to some reason. Eyes feeling tired or even scratchiness indicate similar feelings. If a person does not believe in what he or she is being told, then it is quite natural that his or her attention will waver. He or she will generally be distracted and stare at some far off landscape.

4. A person generally represents Boredom by moving the head to either of the sides or even by staring blankly at the person he or she is talking to. A person might also be suffering from a pain in the neck if he or she turns the head to one side. A distracted look in the eye may also be due to some optical disorder.

5. If a person is intrigued and thrilled by the conversation, it is shown by constantly looking into the speaker’s eyes.

6. If someone keeps stroking his or her face while talking to another person, it might mean that the speaker is trying to hide facts or deceiving the listener.

The Third Plan (1972-1976) : An Initiation of Social Development

In the last two years of the Second Plan. The demand for goods and services declined. This was primarily caused by the reduction of Thai exports of agricultural products and raw materials, and the US government’s cut in spending on military bases in Thailand. This eventually resulted in the first recession since the implementation of the First Economic Development Plan. After the Second Plan was evaluated, it was found that only a few people received benefit from the majority of its development projects, as distribution was unequal. There was considerable disparity in income distribution. Furthermore, social problems emerged as the population increased rapidly. The standard of living declined drastically. Public education and health were inadequate. There was also an unemployment problem due to the great increase in population.

In an effort to cope with these problems, the Third Plan emphasized economic growth and stability by restructuring social and economic development programs.

Economic growth was expected to be 7 percent per year, which was lower than during the Second Plan. Growth of all economic sectors, except for agricultural and banking, were expected to decline. The growth of the economy would come from promotion of exports, promotion of foreign investment in Thailand for large scale

Manufacturing and promotion of industries that were labor intensive and used raw materials from Thailand. And also the promotion from Thailand, and also the promotion of tourism. The exports were aimed to expand at a rate of 7 percent per year, Imports were expected to increase by 2.8 percent per year.

The Third Plan also emphasized maintaining monetary and financial stabilization.

The government expenditure was planned to increase by 7.5 percent year, The government expenditure was planned to increase by 7.5 percent year, in order to be consistent with the increase in GDP. For the monetary policy, the money supply was allowed to expand by 10 percent a year. The government budget for development was 100,275 million Bath.

The Third Plan focused more on social development than on economic development since public services were inadequate for people in urban and rural areas. The budget for education was set at 32.8 percent, transportation and communications at 19.2 percent and urban develop at 14.9 percent of the total development budget.

The development projects under this plan could not achieve their objectives because of political and economic fluctuations, both effecting development directly and indirectly. Domestically, there was political instability. Although the government had a large internal public administration, economic development work could not be carried out on a continual basis. Externally, the United States devalued the US dollar 7.89 percent and 10 percent in 1972 and 1973, respectively, Since Thailand usually set the exchange rate at 20.80 Baht per US dollar, the US devaluation caused the Baht exchange rate to appreciate. This resulted in Thailand exports shrinking and imports expanding. The Bath was devalued to reset the exchange rate back to the original rate.

Another unexpected situation affecting Thai economic development was the oil crisis from 1973 to 1974 and 1975 to 1976. These international crises adversely affected the stability of Thai economy. The increasing oil prices caused cost-push inflation: consequently, the rate of inflation was the highest it had ever been in Thai history. The consumer price index increased by less than 2-3 percent per year before the Third Plan, But rose to 10.8 percent during the Third Plan.

90 Miles of Shoreline

Fully Recreational Lake (Boating, Sailing, Jet Ski’s, Water Skiing, Swimming, etc.)

Fishing tournaments

Constant water level, clear water clarity

6 boat launches

Lake Rhodhiss has over 90 miles of shoreline, totaling over 3000 acres of surface area. Lake Rhodhiss offers 6 boat launches. The lake is a fully recreational lake for swimming, boating (gas or electric engines), sailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boats, jet skiing, water skiing, tubing, wakeboarding etc.

Waterfront lot owners can obtain Boat Docks Permits from Duke Power. During the summer months you can enter various fishing tournaments, since the lake abounds with many species of fish. There are several things that have made Lake Rhodhiss extremely attractive: the constant water level, water clarity, and the natural shoreline. Because some communities use Lake Rhodhiss as their drinking water supply, the water level remains constant, where other lakes in the Carolinas as well as other states can vary dramatically. Water clarity is another reason why people want to be on Lake Rhodhiss. Unlike most other North Carolina lakes that have a clay bottom, Lake Rhodhiss has a crystal blue color to the water because it has a sandy bottom. The attractive shoreline of Lake Rhodhiss is one of its greatest assets. The developed portions of the shoreline display custom built homes ranging in size from 2,000 to 10,000+ square feet, with beautiful docks - many with second level vi ewing decks. With boating traffic rated as low to moderate, you can see why so many people describe the natural beauty of Lake Rhodhiss as “breathtaking.”

Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets have been a crowd puller ever since they were introduced in the Carhartt Range. These jackets are often considered the best in their class and are preferred the world over for their elegant designs and stylish shapes. While most jackets in this section can be picked with your eyes closed, there are a few tips one should keep in mind before choosing quality Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets. Let us see how this can be done.

Look For The Label In A Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets

As I mentioned above, Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets are the best in their league, nonetheless, while purchasing one from a normal, ordinary store, kindly keep in mind that the jacket might not be authentic.

In order to avoid such an embarrassing situation, it is advised that you, as a prospective buyer, check the jacket by studying its logo with care. If the label is present, you can go ahead with the purchase but if it is tampered or missing, I suggest you demand an explanation from the salesman.

Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets Can Be Manually Checked

In order to confirm whether the jacket you picked is genuine or not, kindly hold the jacket between the thumb and forefinger of your right arm. After having done so, you can feel the fabric by running your hand through the entire length of the jacket. Soon, you would be able differentiate between a genuine and a fake piece. While running your fingers, you would notice that although the finger remains cool the thumb is bound to become warm. This is because the Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets have a warm interior and a cool exterior. This is another way of checking the authenticity of a jacket.

Always Speak To A Salsman While Buying Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets

Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets are known the world over for their distinct style, shape and durability. So, while choosing Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets, you need to ensure that you choose only the very best. This can be done through a meaningful conversation with the salesman.

If you have doubts, please do not keep them in your mind. Speak out and be bold enough to communicate with a seasoned salesman. If he/she is not being able to clarify your doubts, step up the ladder and talk to the store manager instead.

Check For The Stitching In Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets

While purchasing Carhartt Sherpa Lines Jackets from an ordinary wholesale shop, it is advisable that you run a thorough physical check before giving a go ahead to the salesman. While running a check, you need to keep an eye on the stitching. Check the seams and see if you find a difference on either side.

Likewise, it is advisable that you check whether the jacket is wrinkled owing to a clumsy transportation. If you keep these points in mind, rest assured, you would never face a problem while choosing a jacket. Soon, you would a proud owner of an authentic Carhartt Sherpa Line Jacket.

When you’re shopping for Carhartt clothing online, don’t just guess at the appropriate size. Instead, you should make use of the measurement guidelines developed by the company to help its consumers make the right choices. Whether you’re looking to buy jeans or sweaters for men, women, or children, you will find that the people behind Carhartt clothing have some useful tips which can make determining your own size much easier.

Men’s Jeans

Most men have a good idea of what size pants they normally wear. However, when they are buying work clothes they tend to be a bit more generous and buy a bit larger so they have more comfort. Because Carhartt clothing is already designed to have that built-in comfort, you don’t need to pad your size. Instead, it’s a good idea to do some re-measuring to make sure you know exactly which size to buy.

Remember to measure your waist all the way around in inches. Then measure your inseam as well. The first number of your size is going to be the waist size and the second will be your inseam. Most of the jeans and pants available through Carhartt clothing are available from 30 X 30 up to 44 X 32. Some styles may be available in larger sizes as well.

Outerwear for Men & Women

Without being able to try on outerwear, you might be nervous about how to pick the right size garment for your needs. That’s a common concern. However, you don’t have to worry. For one, if you would purchase outerwear that would be the wrong size you can return it for the correct size if necessary. But there is a small trick to helping you decide which size outerwear to order whether you are a man or a woman.

Basically, you’re going to use the size you would normally wear and convert it to the sizes used for Carhartt clothing. For example, if you would normally buy an extra large sweatshirt, you would buy a size 46 to 48 in outerwear, jackets, and sweatshirts. If small is your normal size, you would choose 34 to 36. In terms of the conversion for Carhartt clothing sizes, increase the numbers by four for each size up from a small. Medium would be 38 to 40 while large would be 42 to 44.

Other Tips for Sizing

Many of the other types of Carhartt clothing have their own sizing rules, too. Some, such as socks, follow fairly standard sizing principles. If you normally wear a size 11 sock, you’ll want to buy the same size sock in Carhartt clothing.

If you’re buying coveralls, however, you’ll need to go by your height. There are three sizes available: short, regular, and tall. If you’re less than 5’ 7” you’d buy short, shorter than 5’ 11” you’d buy regular, and up to 6’ 3” would be tall.

Sizing the Clothes

You can also try on some Carhartt clothing in local stores then make your final purchases online so you can find the selection and prices that fit your needs.

Finding the right fit for Carhartt Clothing is important. At http://www.workwear1.com, you’ll find a large variety of Carhartt Clothes and Carhartt Work Clothes.

How one chooses to wear their pair or pairs of Carhatt jeans is absolutely subjective. The age old debate of whether or not blue jeans should be further faded is a debate that has been on for ages. The answer to this debate again is purely subjective and more than one. Rightly said, it all depends on the person wearing the jeans and how they would like them to appear. Whatever way you decide to wear your jeans, here are a few tips on breaking them in and maybe even fading them. However, before you follow any of these tips; it is extremely important that you reading the care instruction label on your Carhatt jeans.

Dry Cleaning

Dry cleaning could result in the removal of some of the natural oils from the fabrics of your Carhatt jeans. However this is generally not a problem. Dry cleaning goes a long way in prolonging the life of a pair of old jeans because there is very little friction involved in this cleaning process. This cleaning process is what is highly recommended for jeans that are embroidered or embellished. Dry cleaning is the best way to avoid stones from coming off and to keep the color of the embroidery bright. If your pair of Carhatt jeans is a frayed or ripped style, dry cleaning will ensure the least amount of damage to the jeans.

Professional Laundering for your Carhatt jeans

Unlike dry cleaning which is a dry process and where there will be minimal damage to your pair of Carhatt jeans, professional laundering is a wet process. Most establishments that provide you with dry cleaning services will also offer professional laundering services. However it must be noted that if one chooses to opt for this kind of service there is no control over the degree to which each wash will fade your Carhatt jeans. If you do decide on this option, you must ensure that your jeans are folded in the right manner, inseam to inseam.

Washing your Carhatt jeans at home

If you are one of those who likes their jeans faded but would like them to fad gracefully then washing your jeans at home is probably the best way to go. This way you have complete control over how much your jeans fade. Also be sure to read the manufacturer’s instructions for washing as these will ensure that your Carhatt jeans last longer.

Dry denim

If you are truly not a fan of faded jeans then you should try dry denim. These Carhatt jeans are made out of denim that is untreated and unwashed. Regular washed jeans undergo processes and washes that are equivalent of 25 normal washes. Therefore these jeans do not last as long as dry denim. Dry denim Carhatt jeans have an unwashed coat of indigo that scars depending on how you use your jeans and what wear and tear you subject them to. This creates a personalized look that is peculiar on to your pair of jeans.

This is a question that many people wonder and ask about, whether or not there are different types of psychic readers. The answer is yes and no, straightforward isn’t it. In most cases it’s less about being a different type of reader and more about the oracle the reader consults. It is important to know and understand the psychic and the oracle when you are going to have a reading done.

For example, if you didn’t believe that it was possible for a person to consult spirits then you wouldn’t want to see a medium, it would be a waste of your time and the psychic’s.

To help you understand what we are talking about we are going to give you a brief course in psychic terminology, firstly by understanding what a psychic reading is.

A psychic reading is where you sit with a psychic and they read your energy and consult an oracle of their choice.

Oracles are tools of divination that we psychics use to provide guidance for ourselves as well as others who are on a personal journey of self discovery and self development.

The types of oracles include:

* Runes

* Tarot Cards

* Crystal balls

* Bones

* Tea leaves

Psychic tarot readers are psychics that consult the Tarot to offer you guidance through your current situation. A good psychic Tarot reader will not only address where you are now, but how the past is impacting your current situation and where you are headed if you stay on the current path you are on.

Psychic Rune readers are psychics that consult Runes to offer you guidance. Runes are one of the oldest known oracles; often they resemble stones with cravings on them. There are different types of spreads the psychic can use to offer more detail to a situation.

There are psychic mediums; these are psychics that work with spirit guides to help you talk to a loved one that you have lost. There are many famous psychic mediums such as Elizabeth Baron and Sylvia Browne.

There are also psychic clairvoyants, these are psychics who use their own natural talents and gifts to tell you about past, present and future events to help provide clarity. They obtain this information through ways other than normal human senses. For example through touching an item and getting a vision.

Now with the advances of technology there have also been advances in the availability of psychics. There are psychics that are available over the phone, they provide psychic phone readings. While I have personal feelings over whether or not you can get a real reading from someone that cannot feel or read your energy, this option is available.

Today you can also get a psychic reading via text message or through your email. At best a psychic reading over the phone, online or email is going to be a very general reading, meaning that it isn’t going to be specific to you.

Will you be able to get something out of those readings?

Possibly, it is still recommended though that you find a good psychic and have a person to person reading done.

Keith Ward is the Founder and Director of the Circle of Professional Clairvoyants, which offers Psychic Readings with fully qualified Psychic Readers and Senior UK Clairvoyants.
